We provide pre-application advice so that clients can decide whether or not to submit a planning application. Independent, practical and balanced advice can provide clear guidance on achieving planning permission.
We also, on occasions, enter into early discussions with Local Planning Authorities, which is especially valuable for more contentious or complex forms of development.
Whilst no one can completely pre-judge the processing of a planning application, we pride ourselves on providing impartial and objective advice to suit clients’ requirements.
We submit a number of professionally prepared planning applications each year and proactively manage any negotiations with the Local Planning Authorities.
Each planning application is submitted for formal consideration, with the strongest case presented, working alongside external professionals to provide a comprehensive service.
We are committed to providing a high level of customer service and always keep our clients informed of progress with up-to-date feedback provided at key stages of the application process.
The planning system allows an applicant the right to appeal against a Local Planning Authority's decision to refuse an application or its failure to determine an application within the statutory time frame.
We, alongside an external professional, are able to offer a fresh view to a proposal and prepare and submit a number of appeals to the Planning Inspectorate each year. This includes writing a comprehensive statement setting out a professional and robust case to justify the proposal and provide it with the best chance possible of being allowed at appeal.
We have experience with all three forms of appeal: written representations; hearings and public inquiries. We, alongside the aforementioned external professional, can advise on the most appropriate means of pursuing an appeal relative to the circumstances of the case.
