We have a dedicated Welsh Basic Payment Scheme and Welsh Naked Acres department at our Menai Bridge office, which was established when the office opened in 2010. The department specialises in the trading of Welsh Basic Payment Scheme Entitlements (which will not be possible after 2025) and Welsh Naked Acres with clients and purchasers from all corners of Wales.
Welsh Naked Acres and Welsh Basic Payment Scheme Entitlements are typically sold by auction at our Livestock Market at St Asaph between January and April every year.
The Menai Bridge office and Hywel Davies, BSc (Hons), MRICS, FAAV based at our Denbigh office also assist clients from all over Wales with the completion of their annual Basic Payment Scheme claim forms, any necessary appeals against the Welsh Government, mapping and boundary changes etc.

Key points about Welsh Basic Payment Scheme Entitlements:
🔴 The total standard payment for the first 54 hectares (133.43 acres) of eligible land last year was £239.04 per hectare (£96.74 per acre). It will be 40% less this year.
🔴 The total standard payment after the first 54 hectares (133.43 acres) of eligible land last year was £128.02 per hectare (£51.81 per acre). It will be 40% less this year.
